OnePlus 5 camera’s low light sample posted by the company

EW DELHI: Besides having Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 processor, the upcomingOnePlus 5 is also expected to have improvements in other departments. One of the most important aspects of a smartphone these days is camera (quality), and it seems OnePlus 5 will excel in this regard too. The Chinese technology company has posted a sample image, showing the low-light imaging quality of the yet-to-be-announced flagship smartphone.

The company posted an image on Twitter, one half of which is captured is using a regular smartphone camera and one-half is taken using the OnePlus 5’s camera.

The tweet reads, “Can you tell which photo was taken with the OnePlus 5?”

The low-light shot hardly has any noise or haziness typically seen with smartphones while shooting landscapes in low light.
It’s evident that the half of the image that’s more clear, saturated and has better contrast is the one shot with the OnePlus 5. However, some fans have even tweeted that both are shot by OnePlus 5, with the one half being the RAW image and the other half being the processed one.

OnePlus itself has not confirmed any details about the smartphone’s camera yet.

The OnePlus 5 is said to arrive next month but no particular dates are available as of now. However, what has been confirmed until now is the inclusion of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor . Both Qualcomm and OnePlus recently confirmed that the upcoming OnePlus 5 will be running the ‘powerful’ mobile processor which also powers flagship handsets like the Xperia XZ Premium and the Galaxy S8.
