NEW DELHI: HMD Global, the company that holds exclusive licence to manufacture Nokia -branded smartphones, is reportedly planning on a new flagship smartphone. And now, pricing of the rumoured handset – Nokia 9, has surfaced online.
According to a report by NokiaPowerUser website, the flagship smartphone is expected to have a price tag of $699 (roughly Rs 44,999).
Even though the company has not made any official announcement regarding the upcoming smartphone, reports have suggested that the Nokia 9 will be launched in June or July this year. It’s expected to go on sale in Q3 2017.
The smartphone may have a 5.5-inch QuadHD resolution display, as well as a 22MP dual camera setup at the back. A 12MP front-facing shooter is also expected.
Nokia 9 is likely to arrive in two internal storage configurations – 64GB and 128GB. It will also have IP68 rating for water resistance. The smartphone will incorporate Nokia’s OZO Audio technology for 3D sound and will be backed by a 3,500mAh
