NEW DELHI: Asus is preparing to launch its new premium laptop, called the ZenBook UX430 in India. Two of the laptop’s models namely UX430UA and UX430UQ are listed on the India website at Rs 74,990 and Rs 93,990. Asus is yet to reveal the availability details of the laptops.
The Asus ZenBook UX430UA comes in Royal Blue, Rose Gold, Quartz Grey and Shimmer Gold colour variants. The device will also be available with Windows 10 Home or Pro versions. Users will get the option to choose the UX430UA based on three different processor + RAM customisations – Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7. All three run on Intel 7th-gen ‘Kaby Lake’ processor along with an integrated Intel HD Graphics 620. It can be customised with 4GB, 8GB or 16GB DDR4 RAM and 128GB, 256GB or 512GB SSD storage drive.
Sporting a 14-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) NanoEdge display, the listing says the device has 80% screen-to-body ratio. The company says that the canvas is 13-inch but the display it includes is of 14-inches. The laptop includes a Type-C USB 3.1 Gen.1 port, Type-A USB 3.1 port, USB 2.0 port, Micro HDMI and a SD card reader.
It also has a full-sized backlit keyboard with Glass-covered touchpad and a fingerprint sensor at it’s top right corner. In addition, the laptop features dual 1.5W speakers with ASUS SonicMaster stereo audio system. There is a HD webcam onboard as well.
The listing suggests the UX430UA to run for 9 hours on a single charge with the 50Wh 3-cell lithium-polymer battery. Weighing 1.25 kgs, the Asus ZenBook UX430UQ also includes a few inbuilt softwares such as Asus Splendid, Asus Eye Care, Asus Tru2life Video and Asus AudioWizard.
The Asus UX430UQ shares almost the same specifications but with an extra graphic card. It has the Nvidia 940MX GPU graphic card onboard that comes in addition to the integrated Intel HD GPU. Rest of the specifications and design stay the same.
